Experienced HR Assistant

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, confident and motivated person to work within our busy offices to take up the role of HR Assistant.

You will be supporting the HR Manager to undertake a variety of HR Administrative duties.
- Assist with the day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Manager

Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)

Monitor daily staff attendance

Process documentation and prepare reports relating to staff personnel

Coordinate HR projects and take minutes

Assist in payroll preparation by providing reievant staff data

Support HR Manager to handle complaints and grievance procedures

Assist Office Manager in supervision duties of the Admin function

  • Any other duties requested by line manager
The post is based at our Holyhead / Liangefni Office

The post is currently fixed term to but may be extended, pending project continuation funding).

Hours: 22.5hrs per week - Monday

  • Friday (8.30 am 1pm)

Salary:
FTE £25,000 per annum pro rata, £ gross per month

Satisfactory completion of probationary period (6 months)

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to use IT systems and packages
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to drive with access to own vehicle
  • Understanding of GDPR

Desirable Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of employment law/HR procedures
  • Ability to speak Welsh
