Senior Quantity Surveyor - Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone, Norfolk

If you want to join one of the UK's best engineering companies, Murphy is currently hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone project. This team is known for its expertise and drive to innovate in the industry. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage the project daily, working closely with the operations team and providing vital support and advice. This is a site-based role with flexibility for hybrid working.

The project, part of the UK's goal for net zero carbon emissions, spans over 60km in Norfolk and offers a unique career opportunity from 2023 to 2028.

What you will be doing
  • Ensure adherence to group procedures and governance
  • Prepare internal commercial reports
  • Monitor costs and prepare reports
  • Manage project coding and subcontract agreements
  • Identify and manage commercial risks
Who we are looking for
  • HND/Degree qualification
  • Experience in Quantity Surveyor role
  • Registered with RICS / ICES
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Construction/engineering background
