Finance Assistant

Bridgwater/Hybrid

Full-time, 8-month contract

Up to £25,000

Key Responsibilities in this Finance Assistant role:

  • Set up new customer accounts, process sales invoices and allocate customer payments
  • Raise invoices for agents' commission, machine sales, and rentals
  • Match and verify purchase invoices with orders and resolve any supplier queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Reconcile credit card statements
  • Handle employee expense claims and input them into the system
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and provide overflow support for Reception
Requirements to be considered for this Finance Assistant role:

  • Previous finance experience, preferably in Sales and Purchase ledger
  • Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software
  • Available on short notice of up to 2 weeks & able to commute to the office in Bridgwater
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
