Job description

  • We are thrilled to introduce a great new opportunity for you. If you have what we are looking for then you could be our new MadetoOrder Administrator This role will be parttime, 24 hours over 3 days per week.
  • As part of the Buying team, you will provide administrative support to enable the team to deliver distinctive and profitable MTO products accurately and on time. This is an entrylevel role, ideal for someone looking to build a career in Buying and Merchandising.
    Key Duties and responsibilities

Stock & Product

  • Assisting Buyer with smooth and timely launch of new products by management of the critical path.
  • Brief CGI company on new shapes or fabrics. Liaise with fabric mills on samples for the CGI company and with upholstery suppliers on sofa samples for them to be able to scan.
  • Obtain all product specs from suppliers for product set up. Share with CGI company.
  • Feed back amends and sign off any CGI assets, along with the Buyer and Creative Team.
  • Conducting regular competitor reviews advising on price changes in the market and making recommendations for change and inputs into trends.
  • Setting up new products and maintaining admin tasks on other systems as directed by the Buyer
  • Works with Marketing to ensure photography is representative of the product.
  • Works with stakeholders (VM, Marketing) to support the Buying Office creative vision assisting with copy and info for line drawings etc.
  • Updating pricing file and Netsuite with any agreed cost or retail price changes, and confirmed pricing for any NPD.
  • Liaise with logistics on any NPD to obtain delivery costs.
  • Obtain data for any new fabric launches such as composition, martindale etc. Brief creative for any new swatch labels or care labels artwork required.
  • Responsible for checking levels of upholstery swatches and reordering when required.
  • Responsible for management of buying office fabric samples.
  • Coordinates and monitors online content copy & images.

Reporting & Data Administration

  • Assist in preparation of Weekly & Monthly Trading Packs
  • Assist in producing Range Review/Strategy Packs reviewing performance and building future product offer
  • In season analysis as required
  • Maintenance of Netsuite data
  • Producing information for meetings and making suggestions to support/enhance the department's output

Support & Communication

  • Establish and develop close working relationships with existing and new suppliers to ensure objectives are met

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • PC Literate strong working knowledge of Word & Excel.
  • Excellent Time Management
  • Strong literacy & numeracy (GCSE maths & English)
  • Although not essential if would be great if you also have:
  • Previous experience of working in a retail environment
  • either shop floor or head office.
  • A passion for product and a demonstrable interest in Home Interiors.
  • 1 years + experience of working in a retail environment
