Technical Clerk:

What you need to know about the role

Working within the Energy Operations team you will be responsible for the collection and entry of Engineering staff operational requirements, and be a point of contact for current outstanding necessities.

Stock level management and reconciliation are key to ensuring stock losses are identified and accounted for.

Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Raising of ad-hoc requisitions
  • Sense checking received reports
  • Entry of outputs into SAP
  • Creation and issuing of Engineering reports
  • Reconciliation of stock against SAP figures
  • Raising of Service Entry Sheets for services required
  • Act as a liaison between the plant and vendors

What we need to know about you

To succeed in the role, you will have experience in a similar record keeping or administrative role alongside experience using MS Office packages, SAP and experience creating and working with excel based process models.


You will be able to learn new processes quickly and map physical activities to entries into a digital model with a strong desire to 'get the correct answer'.

You must have strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

MRP experience would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.
