Team Lead Compiler Engineer

We are working with a globally leading semiconductor company based in Cambridge working on the development of next-generation industry-leading CPU and GPU processors.

We are looking for a Team Lead Compiler Engineer to join their GPU compiler team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational and dynamic compiler group working on a ground-breaking mobile GPU.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the leading engineers in the industry and provides strong opportunities for future career progression.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Compiler team by setting objectives, supporting the personal development of your team members and participating in recruitment activities.
  • As the primary contact point of the team you will drive the resolution of customer support cases, coordinate collaborative developments with other Hardware and Software teams, and ensure compilers get sustainable performances out of the Mali GPUs.
  • You will also have the opportunity to make a difference by contributing to the compiler development LLVM based and influencing the architecture and instruction sets.
  • The role could include some extra responsibilities related to the Agile development processes (Agile Lead or Product Owner).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • You have some teamleading experience and are interested in compiler or GPU technologies
  • Extensive Compiler experience
  • GPU experience
  • Experience with OpenGL/ES, Vulkan, or DirectX & OpenCL or OpenML
  • Experience with LLVM
