Job Description

Finance Director - Private Equity backed SaaS Firm

We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity with an investor-backed Software as a Service (SaaS) firm, as they seek an exceptional Finance Director to collaborate directly with the CEO in shaping the company's strategic vision.

This role presents a dynamic opportunity to oversee the day-to-day financial operations, nurture the growth of the finance function, streamline systems and processes, and lead accounting endeavours. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will engage with stakeholders across all organizational tiers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and refine internal financial control policies, systems, and processes to align with company expansion objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management to formulate and monitor financial plans, budgets, and cost-control strategies.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, maintaining financial models and standardized templates for planning.
  • Elevate reporting mechanisms and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to furnish valuable insights to external stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Provide mentorship and growth opportunities for the finance team.
  • Collaborate with private equity investors on a regular basis

Requirements:

  • Qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience within early-stage growth enterprises.
  • Proficiency in SaaS metrics.
