STATION ENGINEER - EDINBURGH AIRPORT

Aircraft Engineering Services (AES Ltd) are inviting applications for a Station Engineer to be based at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) on a Monday-Friday rotation, working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe's largest airline.

The successful Station Engineer will be a self-motivated individual with existing line maintenance experience, who is able to balance the needs of the task, team and individual and demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment.

Reporting directly to the UK General Manager and Technical Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of Ryanair's Engineering Line Stations at Edinburgh Airport (EDI), Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK) and Newcastle International Airport (NCL) .

Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG's and Third-Party Liaison.
Manpower planning, recruitment, retention and staff performance management.
Conducting regular base visits, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory (UK CAA and EASA) compliance.
Supervision and mentoring of Engineers, Aircraft Mechanics and Trainees.
Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.
Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential).

Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress to Maintenance Control and Senior Management.

Proven leadership experience, capable of remotely managing diverse teams.

All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
