The Focus of the Role:


Work with the Group Head of Commissioning and Content (Real Life)/ Head of Real Life/ Commissioning editors, to understand and work within agreed brand and content strategy.


Role Responsibility:

  • Conducting interviews for commissioned stories
- supply whole feature packages, with interview, images and copy (as required) through WW assets.

  • To think strategically, and support Group Head of Commissioning and Content (Real Life) with syndication opportunities as required
  • Expertise: bestinclass journalist with extensive experience in Real Life stories, passionate and authoritative
  • A strong eye for a good story
  • Excellent communication, interviewing and negotiation skills
  • Creative thinker able to operate across channels
  • Understanding user need to ensure commissioned content is appropriately focused
  • Fantastic storyteller and wordsmith
  • Great planning: efficient, diarydriven and organised
  • Professional pride a desire to hit the correct quality threshold for each title/channel
  • Ability to maximising all opportunities for sourcing relevant and engaging content through input into marketing of The Story People
