Senior Security Consultant - Built Environment / Buildings

Location: London

About the Role:

As a Senior Security Consultant, you will coordinate physical security design advice for top-tier projects in various sectors. The Security Consulting team produces top-notch protective security designs for large global projects. Your tasks will involve:

  • Providing security consultancy and master planning for UK and international projects.
  • Working on diverse projects such as airports, sports venues, educational facilities, and hi-tech centers.
  • Offering client-facing consultancy, design, project management, and operational advice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to create risk registers.
  • Developing security strategies to comply with regulations.
  • Generating innovative design concepts and staying updated on security trends.
  • Advising clients on suitable security technologies.
  • Creating and implementing testing programs to ensure security program effectiveness.
  • Overseeing and guiding junior security consultants.
  • Researching and drafting standards, policies, procedures, and reports.

About You:

  • Experienced Security Consultant in the Built Environment
  • Qualification in Security and Risk Management or related fields
  • Chartered or on the path to chartership with a reputable institution
  • Membership with relevant security institutions
  • Background in developing security strategies for diverse projects
  • Experience in assessing security risks across different sectors
