Warehouse Operative - Part-Time.


We are looking for a hard-working, punctual, committed team player with a desire to learn to join our Bromborough team within our wholesale distribution business.

The position is a part-time contract based in our fast-paced Bromborough distribution warehouse. You will be required to pick, sort, prepare then package stock, and complete stock audits.

The job requires you to be on your feet doing plenty of bending and lifting, so you'll need a reasonable level of fitness.

Additional requirements of the role include the following.

  • Picking, prepping, sorting, and packing products for sale, checking and loading stock for delivery to branches.
  • Checking supplier deliveries received in distribution, working together with colleagues to achieve set targets.
  • Replenishing stock locations in multiple onsite warehouses.
  • Manual handling must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 25Kg whilst processing and loading orders.
  • Cleaning and delivering housekeeping standards, contributing to securing health and safety in the warehouse.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.

Due to the repetitive, physical nature of the job the person must be able to lift and carry boxes of 25 kg.


Although not mandatory, desirable skills include a valid full UK driving license and Counterbalance and Reach truck experience with valid RTITB licenses and NORS numbers.


Hours: 20 hours per week, working 4-hour shifts (excluding unpaid breaks)

Monday to Friday between the operation hours of 08:30 am to 17:00 pm. May be required to work some weekends.

Salary:
£10.82 per hour
. Overtime is paid at the normal rate.
