Finance Administrator

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Finance Administrator for an initial 6 month contract, and the role comes with an Umbrella contract rate of £30.72 per hour (Inside IR35).

As a Finance Administrator, you will manage and enact finance administration within the Intellectual Property Department.

This will include reporting and calculating future spending projections, raising and seeking approval for ad hoc spending requests, and managing various tracking tools.

In your first few weeks in this Finance Administrator role, you help find efficiencies and improvements across the department's finances to reduce overall department spend.

Finances are managed internally to the department using local tools, but the successful candidate would still need to interact cross-functionally across the business with teams that make up the end-to-end finance process (e.g. Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, etc).

Furthermore, extensive finance experience is not essential and this role would not suit someone looking for an end to end finance role.

Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
Purchase Ledger experience
Basic Finance qualifications e.g. AAT
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Solid understanding of finance administration
