We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Manager, Corporate Treasury Risk - Analysis and Insight.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Corporate Treasury and Finance Risks team. This role holder will be responsible for providing independent oversight and analysis across Capital Risk, Recovery and Resolution Risk, and Finance Risk. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring robust risk management practices through data-driven analysis and monitoring of key risks for HSBC.

In this role, you will:

• Play an active role in identifying any risk issues, trends, and areas of concern through data-driven insights specifically for Corporate Treasury and Financial Risk.

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Perform in depth data analysis across Capital Risk, Recovery and Resolution Risk, and Finance Risk domains using Python coding skills to develop and enhance analytical tools.

• Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, highlighting any key risk exposures and mitigation strategies.

• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Must have experience in a Financial Risk background with commercial experience in first line.

• Through experience and knowledge in python programming and data analysis libraries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to handle complex and high-pressure situations.

• Prior experience liaising with senior stakeholders and ability to articulate complex information to non-specialists in a clear and concise manner.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively across various departments and lead projects effectively.

• Must have a keen eye for detail and interest for regulatory changes related to Financial Risk.

The base location for this role is London / Hybrid.
