Responsibilities:

  • Check what machines are running or planned to run (with Shift Supervisor)
  • Check what labels are going to be required for the shift (with Shift Supervisor
  • On each pallet/box or stillage check the barcode labels match the paperwork:
  • to include quantity per pallet/box or stillage.

  • At the machine
  • Ensure each pallet/box or stillage has the following:
  • barcode label.
  • Operator label to be attached each box/sectional or stillage.
  • The operator label must have the machine number / date and operator number.
  • Label holder cable tied to packaging.
  • Finished goods:
  • Each completed pallet/sectional or stillage to be transported to the scanning station.
  • Each barcode label is to be scanned onto the SAP system.
  • Each pallet/sectional or stillage is then to be moved to the logistics holding area.
  • Packaging crates:
  • Check empty pallets/boxes remove old labels from the packaging or label hanger and check that pallet/box are in good condition/suitable for customer.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 37.5 per week
