Cellar Lead

We are creating a new role in our team to oversee the daily running of the brewery cellar, working closely with our Lead brewer and Head Brewer to optimise and continually improve the processes and quality in the brewery, at Siren Craft Brew.

• Overseeing the daily running of the brewery cellars, working closely with lead brewer and packaging lead.
• Working on the cellar floor daily to maintain even workflow between early and late cellar shifts.
• Reporting on daily progress and identifying when task are running behind schedule
• Following recipe instructions to ensure correct cellaring tasks are performed on each batch
• Working on continual improvement projects around workflow efficiency in the cellar, brewery yields, flavour and beer quality and raw material efficiencies in our process's.
• Overseeing packaging line set up and pack downs to ensure efficient packaging run times.
• Making sure all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks are allocated so the brewery hygiene is maintained
• Research projects set out by lead brewer or head brewer to make improvements.
• Working with QC department to maintain quality standards and investigate any potential risks that may occur in the brewery.
• Manage, train and update SOP's for all cellaring tasks.
• Raw material management and stock taking were required, working to a FIFO system.

• Working in a fastpaced environment
• Previous experience in Food or Beverage Environment (not essential)
• Capable of physical work
• Can do attitude with a positive outlook
• Interest in beer not essential but would help with your enjoyment in the role
