A key part of this is our team of Power Traders.

Who are you?
You are a graduate in STEM Economics, or a related field, or have equivalent real-world experience.

Not only do you thrive in a fast paced environment, you relish the opportunity to work in one You will get excited at the prospect of actively and profitably trading electricity and power derivatives across markets, and outsmarting the competition.


On top of that, you will

  • Be genuinely passionate about starting your career in the trading industry

  • Be comfortable with using Excel or programming languages to interpret large datasets
  • Have excellent analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • You'll actively trade on the UK power market, making buy and sell decisions to generate P&L
  • Analyse the UK power market and operation of the national grid balancing actions in real time
  • Help implement and test expert advisory and automatic trading software
  • Keep updated on industry bestpractice and developments, as well as regulations and emerging trends in the power market
