In this role you will be tasked with developing and procuring business, contracts and sales on behalf of Xylem Water Solutions UK Ltd and increase the Xylem brand profile in the UK Domestic Building Services market. Specifically targeting Large contractors, Merchants, Distribution.
The position is responsible for the development of Merchant and Distributor relationships and generating incremental sales though the Xylem channel partners network, utilising existing Xylems existing network and developing new relationships with Domestic Building Services, Distribution contracts and Contractors, to ensure maximum gain's in share of wallet, offering all Xylem products and services. The incumbent will be tasked with identifying & exploiting sales, opportunities, applications and support to ensure that Xylem is recognised within the customers highlighted to enable Xylem UK to develop relations and procure incremental business.
- To work in close co-operation with the DBS team. Sales Managers and other field sales engineers in developing the sales growth through Contractors, DBS consultants and DBS contacts in line with Xylem Water Solutions Strategy. This to include both sales revenue and market share development.
- Work with other Sales Teams to ensure above market rate growth within the Contractors, Merchant, Distribution and DBS contacts whilst ensuring a channel neutral approach.
- To develop and maintain agreements and relationships within the DBS market and work in partnership with them to ensure maximum potential gain in share of wallet.
- To develop and maintain Account plans for contractors, DBS consultants and DBS contacts to ensure they are being followed by the business in order to drive growth and sustain the relationships, thus tying them closer to Xylem.
- To develop and maintain contracts with Contractors, DBS consultants & DBS contacts and manage these contracts, ensuring rebate schemes are in place where applicable and are up to date. The rebate schemes will need to be coordinated with finance to ensure correct accruals of the fees.
- To research and maintain market intelligence, including information on competitors and price levels to assist in day to day decisions and the formulation of strategy and budget planning regarding the allocated markets and products.
- Active member and jointly responsible for Domestic Building Services results, and opportunities for the wider Building Solutions team.
- To Update, maintain, review and work utilising the Xylem CRM System called Salesforce, updating and chasing quotations within your area of responsibility.
- Any other duties, within your capabilities, as required by Management
