You're an experienced Planner/Buyer - a supply chain professional who has experience within the engineering or manufacturing sector.

You've proven yourself to be a strong communicator, you're results-oriented with a proven track record of delivering solutions.

You have a natural ability to influence a variety of colleagues and the capability to drive value from analytics, develop and support the continual purchasing and planning objectives.


As part of this role youll be:

  • Sourcing suppliers-
  • Achieving cost reduction-
  • Developing Supplier relationships-
  • Managing Materials-
  • Planning & Forecasting-
  • Negotiating contracts
    Ideally, youll have:
  • Knowledge of buying and planning-
  • Strong commercial/business acumen.-
  • A team player mentality, be able to work with a small team and build strong and collaborative relationships across the whole business.-
  • Excellent communication skills-
  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills. Ability to convince others and influence outcomes-
  • Agility and flexibility-
  • Strong problem analysis, judgement and decision-making skills.
