Opportunity:

Associates advise clients and drive execution on accounts, focusing on delivery of workstreams and proactive development of ideas.

They nurture a wide internal network across offices and specialisms to share, develop and deliver the best examples of work for internal and external use; as well as broadening their external network.

Associates demonstrate an ability to convince media and a variety of other stakeholders of the client's point of view in critical situations and - through strong relationships with the client - explain how this is being achieved.

Our work in Cyber:

Cybersecurity is about the stewardship of trust.

When a company's networks and systems are breached, the leadership and culture of the organization is exposed, for better or worse.

Brunswick helps companies prepare for and navigate these complexities while fiercely protecting reputation at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution on client accounts for which there is a cyber mandate, managing workflow and key elements (e.g. client calls, activity reports, etc.).
  • Advise cyber clients across a range of industry sectors, with support of Directors/Partners, drawing on independent experience and insights.
  • Manage complex media and policyrelated interactions, using advanced knowledge of media, regulatory affairs and other stakeholder landscapes.
  • Play a key role in team management and dynamics, including supporting smooth team transitions, and serving as a daytoday mentor to junior team members.
  • Play an active role in drafting new business proposals and letters of engagement, including participating in pitch meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • A minimum of eight years' relevant professional experience
  • A proven ability to advise senior stakeholders on complex cyber issues, specific or at least relevant to corporate clients
  • A deep understanding of the intersection of business, politics and society, particularly as it relates to cyber resilience and response
  • The ability to use cyber expertise to drive communication programmes for clients
  • Prior experience of consulting corporate clients to evaluate and respond to their specific business needs, would be advantageous
  • A good understanding of the UK media landscape would be advantageous
  • The ability to operate effectively in a commercial, selfstarting, and fastpaced environment
  • A strong verbal and written communicator with high EQ levels and an engaging presentation style
  • Energetic team player, demonstrating a commitment to helping colleagues at all levels of the firm accomplish their individual and client objectives
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong problemsolving skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in highpressure situations
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit

Our Benefits:

In addition to life assurance, group income protection, and employer pension contribution, we offer:

  • Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
  • 25 days' annual leave entitlement (excluding bank holidays) plus an additional day of leave for your birthday.
  • Private Medical Insurance via Bupa for yourself and your dependants, including access to a digital GP service, Bupa Menopause plan and Bupa anytime Healthline.

  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Headspace for Work membership.
  • Financial wellbeing benefit schemes
  • Season Ticket Loan, Tenancy Deposit Loan and Cycle to Work.
  • Eye Care annual eye examination and contribution towards glasses.
  • Annual Flu Vaccinations.
  • Corporate Gym Memberships at discounted rates for local gyms.

  • Complimentary artisan coffee, tea and snacks, served by our own barista in our café.
