Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for customer service? If so, we're seeking a Customer Scheduler Team Leader to join our team and oversee a group of nine out-of-hours schedulers.

In this role, you'll provide one-on-one coaching, facilitate training sessions and collaborate with the Regional Scheduling Manager on small projects.

What you'll do

Manage your team to ensure efficient scheduling and adherence to service levels. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support individual development and address performance issues. Facilitate training sessions to enhance team members' skills and knowledge. Collaborate with the Regional Scheduling Manager on small projects related to workforce optimisation. Support training and scheduling for our core hour staff. Occasionally travel between scheduling hubs in Dorset and Bridgewater. Engage with internal stakeholders, including senior management and other teams, to understand their requirements and expectations. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment between scheduling decisions and overall business goals. Proactively address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships. Monitor team performance metrics, such as response times, adherence to schedules, and service level agreements. Implement strategies to improve performance, optimise resource allocation, and meet or exceed targets. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

What you'll need

Previous experience in a leadership role within a customer service or scheduling environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Strong communication and coaching skills. The ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. Flexibility to travel as needed.
