Act as an autonomous mental health practitioner to manage own caseload Assist in the provision of an exemplar OH Service, ensuring UHPT and external contractual agreements are met Participate in the provision of an Occupational Mental Health service Through high visibility, maintain liaison with UHP managers and employees regarding mental health issues Maintain effective enhanced and sensitive communication with clients, managers and other professionals this is likely to require management of complex relationships and advanced communication skills Deliver highly specialist clinical OH advice to managers in respect of workplace and staff, with a particular emphasis on mental health and stress management within the organisation this will require individualised assessment and plan of intervention based on the needs of the member of staff and the resources available in the workplace Engage and work collaboratively with other clinical professionals within the OH&WB department, via 2-way referral, provision of advice, management reports, and case management/discussion as appropriate Engage with key professionals within the community including but not exclusively, GPs, social services, consultant psychiatrists to access appropriate information and manage risk where appropriate Ensure highly comprehensive clinical records are kept for all employee contacts, in line with current documentary practice ie.
