Applications are invited for the post of Research Coordinator to support Vasculitis Research within the Department of Medicine.

The post holder will provide administrative support to Professor David Jayne and the Vasculitis Research Group. The role supports a wide range of activities. These include financial monitoring and reporting for award budgets and organisation of events and meetings.


Applicants should be educated to A Level standard including GCSE English Language and Mathematics or have equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience and must possess excellent IT skills, including the use of word processing, internet searching and the use of Microsoft Office programmes (Word and Excel).

They should have good interpersonal and communication skills, and a flexible and positive attitude. Relevant finance or administration experience, ideally within an academic setting, is essential.

Experience of University Financial System (UFS) and event organisation would be desirable.

This position is part-time at 30 hours per week.
