The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the Major Event Reserving Team, collaborating closely with the Head of Major Events Reserving and team members. They will actively contribute to initiatives, using their technical expertise to drive visible and impactful results. Progress through actuarial exams is required, along with familiarity or willingness to learn tools like SQL, Power BI, and R. The role involves fostering cohesion and synergy within the team to align collective efforts with organizational goals. What are your essential responsibilities?
- Performing actuarial analytics related to significant loss events to provide insights and assist with reserve recommendations.
- Reporting analysis and results to various committees and internal/external parties.
- Reviewing and consolidating reserve analysis across the division.
- Ensuring actuarial reporting compliance and enhancing the reporting suite.
- Managing reserving timelines and workflow across departments.
The role will also involve:
Actuarial support for Major Event Reserve Committee, involvement in business planning, representing AXA XL in the external market, and participation in special projects to contribute to team development.
