Depute manager in first instance then Project Manager

Hours of work: 35hrs

PLEASE NOTE _Does include Weekend Working_

Purpose of job:
To assist in providing care, support, supervision, fun and stimulating activities for all children attending the service

Main Tasks Include:

  • To participate in the planning of an appropriate range of activities suited to the needs of each child and ensure these are carried out.
  • To document the activities through photography.
  • To encourage and support the children including those with additional needs as and when required.
  • To assist with toileting and personal care and provide help when needed ensuring the child's dignity and privacy at all times.
  • To promote healthy eating ensuring all children's dietary/allergy requirements are met and that they receive a snack best suited to their needs.
  • To supervise children at all times and promote positive behaviour
  • To prepare written progress reports on each child as required
  • To ensure a safe environment at all times ensuring the completion of all relevant safety/hygiene checks prior to the children attending.
  • To welcome and work in partnership with parents and keep them informed at all times.
  • Administering first aid and medication as appropriate following strict service guidelines.
  • Carry out enhanced cleaning duties in line with all relevant COVID legislation and the service control of infection policy.
  • To be able to work as part of a team or on your own with little guidance from the project manager.
  • To be a good role model and lead by example.
  • To undertake relevant training identified by practitioner and manager in order to carry out role to best of abilities.
  • To carry out other duties deemed necessary by Manager.
