Due to expansion and continued high demand, Stags are currently seeking a Planning Consultant to join our successful Planning, Development and Architectural department based from our Exeter Office.


The role would suit either qualified, or trainee, Planners or Surveyors within an interest in all type of property and would include taking responsibility for your own caseload of a variety of planning work.

This work would be encompassing our diverse core areas of residential, commercial and agricultural planning.

There would also be the opportunity to work to secure new instructions and contribute to the growth of the department.


  • A relevant degree (or equivalent)
  • Planning experience (from either the private or public sector)
  • RTPI/RICS qualified (or working towards this)
  • A sound knowledge of residential, commercial and agricultural planning
  • The confidence to manage your own caseload (with the support of the wider team)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge/experience of planning within the South West (preferable but not essential)
