Job title:
Internal Auditor (Remote with 50% travel)

Salary Range:
£50,000 to £55,000 salary + company car and 10% bonus

Location:
Home based with up to 50% UK and European travel

We are working exclusively with a Large International FMCG firm to help them hire an Internal Auditor on a permanent basis, to work 50% remotely and 50% UK and European Travel.

This position will pay a salary in the range of £50k to £55k plus a fully expenses company car and up to 10% bonus.

Longer term this role can offer an excellent development pathway with the opportunity to fast track into financial management routes in the future.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with the Internal Audit Manager and the senior Finance Leadership team within a successful FTSE 100 organisation.

You'll manage audits for a variety of divisions, with an overall turnover in excess of £1bn.

In this role you will be able to build great relationships across the business whilst managing, engaging and advising senior stakeholders regarding risks and opportunities for growth, offering solutions and better ways of working to ensure the business is working in the smartest way with a strong and robust control frameworks.

As the business continues to grow and evolve, you will also have the opportunity to gain exposure and be involved with M&A activity from a financial perspective.

The person

  • Qualified accountant with previous experience of internal or external audit, risk and/or controls within a large corporate environment
  • Previous experience of working within the Big 4/Top 10 would be beneficial
  • Knowledge and experience of auditing financial controls
  • Strong desire to learn new things, broaden knowledge base and make a real difference
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships across a wide group of stakeholders, with varying positions
This is an excellent opportunity for a Internal Auditor working remotely, but with 50% UK and European travel.
