Brief overview of role

Duties and Responsibilities

Typical duties will include:

  • Systematically review key sections of the website (collections, product pages, standing content including store pages) to ensure details are correct and that all information is complete, according to guidelines set out
  • Ensure all pages adhere to the guidelines and fix problems as they arise. Raise common problems with Head of Ecommerce.
  • Maintenance and update of standing content, e.g. job boards, events and sustainability pages
  • Use photo editing software to Crop images according to guidelines
  • Using Google Analytics to create reports on website usage, conversion rates etc.
  • Support with content creation for use on Social Media platforms
  • Writing blog posts for use on the website and social media
  • Taking product photos for use on website and socials

Training
You will be working towards the Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship standard.

Face to face training sessions will be delivered from the state-of-the-art EMA training hub on Siddals Road, central Derby.

The 3 core knowledge units are as follows:

  • Principles of Coding
  • Marketing Principles
  • Digital Marketing Business Principles
In addition to the modules above, you will also study towards the Google Analytics vendor qualification.

Further support will be provided to you through your Digital Coach/Mentor via onsite visits and remote communication.

There is a full time opportunity available and an opportunity to progress onto a level 4 programme at the end of the apprenticeship, for someone who works hard and can demonstrate value added to the business.
