In the current evolution of technology, providing a clear design of the structure and standard of IT infrastructure plays an integral role in the development of any business.
The Contract
As a part of the infrastructure design team, you will be working alongside a team of both permanent and contract staff, working in areas covering our whole business.
Task
Creation & development of high level and detailed infrastructure designs.
Assessment of infrastructure costs within agreed solutions.
Creation of adoption & roadmaps, reusable design patterns & standards, hardware and software Standard Operating Environments (SOE).
Development of operational and use case models for innovative technologies.
Design Governance to ensure ongoing reliability, quality, and adherence to architectural strategies & roadmaps.
Consultancy to approved projects during the estimating process, cost, high level design and impact analysis.
Essentials
Significant experience with Microsoft Azure, VM Ware and networking.
Solid collaboration, communication and organisational skills.
Stakeholder management.
Budget considerations.
Strong ability to support the design and architectural governance process, demonstrating technical experience.
Continuous improvement experience.
*Financial experience is beneficial, but not essential.
