My client is an Education and Training, Not For Profit organisation based in Slough. They are a part of a multi-academy trust that was established in 2013.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Financial Systems and Reporting Officer are:
- In conjunction with the FD advise on current and future financial issues and projects.
- Ensure that financial policies adopted are in adherence with the requirements of the ESFA, Charities Commission and Companies Law.
- Carry out regular internal audits of all financial systems, controls and processes to ensure that systems are operating effectively and efficiently with minimal or no risks.
- To review banking approval limits and structures.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Financial Systems and Reporting Officer will:
- Ideally have worked within an Education and Finance setting previously
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Handle a high-level of workload and manage priorities well.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
