We are on the lookout for a Project Architect to join an award-winning Architectural practice located in the Cotswolds. This is a great opportunity for an individual to get involved with exciting, new projects

This RIBA chartered practice was founded in 2010 and has 2 offices in the UK currently employing 16 members of staff.

In the Cotswolds office, they have 7 staff that consists of Directors, 2 Associates and Assistants. Through both offices, this practice sharesthe workload and site visits between them and generally work closely with each other.

The Architectural practice is working in a variety of projects from workspace, mixed-use, and one-off residential projects from inception to completion and are able to deliver award-winning buildings by personal consultation and purposeful collaboration.

Oneof their aims is to enrich lives and landscapes.

As a Project Architect, some responsibilities include an emphasis on post-planning, feasibility, and running and managing/leading projects through the entire RIBA stages.

There is ample opportunity to progress with your career in this position - to become aSenior Architect to an Associate
The ideal Project Architect will have some experience working in the residential (refurbishments, new builds etc.), mixed-use or commercial sectors with the use of MicroStation - although this is not essential, it is a desire - they can offer training in thissoftware if required

The Role:

  • Lead projects from inception to completion
  • Commercial, mixeduse, and residential (private clients, listedbuildings, estates etc.)
  • Confidently liaise with colleagues/teams, clients, and other business professionals
  • Postqualification experience
  • Knowledge of conservation, NBS and writing specifications
  • Understanding of Building Regulations, relevant legislation, and strategic policies
  • Enthusiasm for the contemporary adaption and reuse of historic buildings/landscapes
  • MicroStation experience can be trained in this if required
  • Handsketching abilities

Salary:

£30K - £37K (DOE)
