Role:
Corporate SolicitornHours: 35 per week; Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:15pmnSalary: Dependent on experience

We are currently looking for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join our busy Corporate & Commercial team.

Working in a small but expanding team, and reporting to the Head of Department, you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to a range of clients.

This role is office based in the Portsmouth area, with the option for a Hybrid working arrangement.

Role ResponsibilitiesnAs a Corporate Solicitor you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing your own diverse caseload.

You will provide sound, professional advice to clients (as buyer, seller, lender or any other interested party) in relation to:

Buying and selling companiesnAsset sales and purchasesnDrafting Shareholders Agreements and Articles of AssociationnAdvising on Facility Agreements, Debentures and Personal GuaranteesnProviding independent legal advicenAdvising on corporate restructuringnAdvising on, and negotiating, commercial contracts


Job RequirementsnOur ideal candidate will be someone with proven experience who takes a professional, client-first approach to each case they run.

They will have sound knowledge and expertise in the field, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and confidential manner.

The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure in order to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times.

Whilst character is important to us we do require a certain level of experience and qualification to succeed in this role

These are:


hold qualified solicitor status in England and Wales or be a qualified Legal Executive.n4 years post qualification experience dealing with corporate matters.
