Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Science Technician for a full-time position at a secondary school in Hounslow, starting ASAP.


The hours are 8.15am to 3.45pm during term time only, until July 2023, with a possibility of a permanent opportunity in September 2023.

The salary offered is £ per hour, depending on experience.


In this role, you will support the Science department from KS3 to KS5 and work closely with the Head of Department and Senior Technician to ensure the smooth operation of the Science labs.

Your duties will include preparing for practical tasks, maintaininglabs and equipment for Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to A level, managing stock levels, and adhering to COSHH and Health and Safety regulations.

A Science degree is required, and previous school experience is preferred.

This "Good" rated school, as per Ofsted, is highly regarded and oversubscribed.

It is one of the best schools in the borough, located in a lovely part of Hounslow with staff parking or a 15-minute bus ride from the nearest underground station (or a 30-minutewalk).
