The Role:


The post holder will deliver high quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered staff and home support managers.


The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

What we'll need you to bring:

  • SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development. Working knowledge of basic information technology

It would be great if you also have:

  • Training in physical health checks in areas such as BP monitoring venepuncture.
  • Previous experience in working with people in a community setting
  • Direct/client one to one care.
  • Wide range of caring experience.
  • Should have an awareness of current developments in Primary Care.
  • Knowledge of approaches to risk management.
  • Knowledge and awareness of develop Community Supports for older people.
  • Should demonstrate excellent team working while having the ability to work using own initiative.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Required to be flexible in post.
  • Car Driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence.
  • Flexible working hours

Contract type:

Permanent

Part Time

30 hours

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

Location and Working Pattern:

This role will be based in Treatment Room/Phebotomy within Central Health Centre, Cumbernauld.

The working pattern for this role will be Monday to Sunday - 5/7 days.
