Our clients are currently expanding and are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.
Th opportunity is to join a tight-knit team of Project Managers and Interior Designers working on the company's own developments. As the company is expanding the role offers great career progression and mentor-ship opportunities with hands on day-to-day communication with the company's Directors. Your development will be supported by senior members of staff with the view to moving towards a Project Manager role as the team grows.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be involved in developments from inception to completion, dealing with all aspects of property development, from acquisition, through planning, design, and construction to sales. The role offers exposure to the full development lifecycle and is a great learning opportunity for any ambitious Assistant Project Manager that wants to step into the Prime Central London Developer sector.
Joining the Project Management team, you will be assisting the Project Director in the delivery of several projects ranging from £5m-£100m GDV. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of some of the smaller projects and assisting on some larger schemes. You will be working closely with the in-house interior design team in the successful delivery of projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and defining scope of project and works.
- Coordinating project teams and external consultants.
- Assisting in gaining planning permission and other statutory consents.
- Assisting in the development of project programmes.
- Management and monitoring of budgets and cash flows.
- Management of the procurement and tendering process.
- Administration of JCT contracts.
- Value engineering.
- Risk Management.
- Completion and post-completion activities.
- Assisting in sales and marketing.
- Effective management of time cost and quality objectives.
- Benefits Realisation - post completion analysis, and documenting this to benefit future projects.

- Job is 100% office based. Offices are in Richmond, and you will be expected to travel to sites within in central London.
Experience Required & Qualifications
- At least 3 year's experience as an Assistant Project Manager, ideally in high end residential, hospitality or a similar industry.
- Familiar with JCT contracts and experience executing contract administration.
- Experience in dealing with multiple external consultants.
- Understanding of project management principles and design and construction processes.
- Proficient in reading drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to work and reside in the UK.
