Our client is a leading global investment manager and business building in logistics, real estate, finance and infrastructure. They are looking for a KYC and Database Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. They are offering hybrid working, a competitive salary, bonus and benefits.

Role description

  • Assisting with knowyourclient (KYC) procedures and general compliance matters, including:
  • Conducting KYC analyses
  • Collating identification documents
  • Preparing structure charts
  • Liaising with external counterparties on KYC requests

Database Administrator

  • Responsibility for overseeing, organizing, storing, analysing and reporting on databases which are managed by the legal team, for example:
  • Transaction Management Tool operated by Microsoft
  • Legal Spend Management Tool operated by third party software
  • Property Dataroom operated by Sharepoint (previously Sterling)
  • Contract automation tool operated by third party software
  • Troubleshoot any IT issues with the databases by liaising with appropriate technical support teams (IT consultants/ third party databases/ IT team).
  • Managing users, user roles and permissions
  • Training endusers on new reports and dashboards
  • Develop techniques that allow for the collection of accurate data
  • Create, revise and enforce data management policies
  • Implement procedures related to the secure and efficient handling and sharing of data
  • Evaluate the performance of database systems and seek ways to enhance them
  • Extract pertinent data and build detailed reports and analysis for senior management
  • Ensure security from data loss, security breach and hacking
  • Troubleshoot and authorise the maintenance of datarelated problems
  • Support the Legal Operations Director in her daytoday duties

About you

  • Minimum of [3 years] of relevant experience in software implementation, administration and management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing databases, collecting and handling data sets
  • Prior experience with KYC procedures and compliance matters would be a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong aptitude for technology
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Proven understanding of procedures required for secure sharing of data
  • Thorough and proven understanding of data management and administrative policies
  • Familiar with modern, hightech databases
  • Ability to create reports and presentations
  • Proven experience with digesting, understanding, and analysing data is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with multiple deadlines
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
