Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team.

THE ROLE - Room Attendant:

The scope of the role of
Housekeeping Room Attendant is to clean and present hotel suites and bedrooms
to exceptional 5 star standards in readiness for new arrivals, and to maintain cleanliness and
amenities for in house guests throughout their stay.

Key things you will be responsible for:

  • Make beds, change sheets, remove used linen and replenish toiletries
  • Clean Toilet
  • Dust and polish fixtures, mirrors tables, desks, headboards, window sills, doors
  • Replenish refreshment tray
  • Vacuum carpet and mop floor
  • Removal of rubbish and recycling
  • Stock up trolley and prepare for next day
  • Privacy and security of guest rooms
  • Provide information and direction, and answer guest queries
  • Report in room damage and maintenance issues
  • Securely handle lost property
  • Tidy and clean staircases and corridors
  • Seasonal deep cleaning and general assistance across all areas of housekeeping when required.

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

  • Customer service and housekeeping experience an advantage
  • Great interpersonal skills, with an ability to build excellent working relationships
  • Thoroughness, with keen attention to detail
  • A flexible approach to work to meet operational demand
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and ability to use hand held technology
