As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in our kitchen.

This position requires culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests through the creation of delicious and visually appealing meals.


Duties will include:

Food Preparation:

  • Follow recipes and prepare dishes according to established standards.
  • Ensure all ingredients are measured, cut, and prepared accurately.
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to streamline workflow.

Cooking and Presentation:

  • Cook and assemble dishes to meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and portion sizes.
  • Pay attention to detail to create visually appealing plates.

Menu Adherence:

  • Familiarize yourself with the menu and any daily specials.
  • Consistently produce dishes that meet or exceed the expectations of the Head Cook.
4.

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and maintained.
  • Dispose of waste and kitchen materials in accordance with established procedures.
5.

Collaboration with Kitchen Team:

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Assist in the training of new kitchen team members as needed.
  • Work collaboratively to meet service goals and deadlines.
6.

Adherence to Safety Standards:

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training.
  • Any other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Company.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Food handler's certification.

  • Ensuring that suitable and sufficient Personnel Protective Clothing is always worn correctly and is relevant to the area you are working in.
  • Be accountable for the reporting of all accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses to your manager.
