Are you currently in a sales roles and would love to move to a purchasing position?

Do you enjoying building relationships with customers and suppliers?

Are you organised with good knowledge and experience using Excel?

Can you travel to Linwood in Renfrewshire each day?

This is an excellent opportunity to move from sales into a buying role.

Full training will be provide, you will need to be a confident communicator with drive, determination and a positive attitude.

The role is fully office based which is great because you'll learn how to become a top class buyer from your colleagues.

The hours of work are Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm

Here's what you'll be doing

• Identify obsolete products
• Manage and develop relationships with suppliers
• Negotiate price, delivery and lead times on various products
• Expedite lead times and delivery dates
• Forecast customer orders against stock delivery times
• Action company purchase invoice queries
• Foresee issues and problems by managing customer order book
• Action supplier returns
• Analysis of customer schedules to ensure stock availability
• Liaise with Warehouse operations to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders
