Anyway, back to the role of People Data Analyst.

If successful you will be responsible for managing, maintaining and developing our data and systems to produce management information and analysis which will drive the People Strategy and enable effectivedecisions through powerful business insights.


This role will operate as an expert across all People systems and data sources, collaborating closely with IT and Finance where required.

For this role you will need to have a good knowledge and understanding of Power Bi and will be experienced analysingdata, identifying trends and the design and delivery of MI.


Responsibilities of the People Data Analyst (not limited to)

  • Manage the design and delivery of all People Management Information including dashboards, reporting packs with analysis, and any other relevant data, ensuring all business needs are met.
  • Automate MI reporting and processes using Power BI.
  • Identify trends and insights in the data to inform the People Strategy, enable business decisions and to measure and monitor the impact of any People interventions.
  • Work with the People Partners to highlight trends with root cause analyses and recommendations.
  • Manage the quality of the People Data, ensuring our systems are updated and accurate and anomalies are identified and rectified, liaising with IT, Payroll, Management Accounts, Operations, and
- any other areas of the business as required.

  • Support any systems upgrades or installations in the People Department.
  • Work with the Finance Team, the People Partners and the People Director to support with bonus modelling and incentive structures.
  • Continually add to our MI portfolio to provide deeper insight and futurefocused strategies.
  • Ensure all employee data is maintained in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Skills of the People Data Analyst (not limited to)

  • A strong knowledge and proven experience of working with Power BI is essential.
  • Previous experience of the provision of timely and accurate management information must be evidenced.
  • Experience of designing management information dashboards using People Data and databases.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Highly organised and detailoriented, with the capability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines where required.
  • A problem solver with a solutionsfocused approach.
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in the People Team, the Finance Team and the Operational Teams, amongst others.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities to include pivot tables, Vlookups, Slicers, Formulas, Macros and VBA.
  • Highly numerate and confident manipulating high quantities of data with speed and accuracy.
  • Commercial outlook and understanding of what the business requires from the Management Information.
  • Ability to work without supervision, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
  • An understanding of GDPR.
  • An understanding of the recruitment industry is advantageous but not essential.
