A glimpse of what this role entails:
  • Crafting solutions for Aviva's IT applications estate in alignment with technology standards and objectives for availability, security, resilience, and performance
  • Providing guidance and support to junior Solution Architects

  • Taking part in early triage and shaping of IT initiatives to facilitate investment decisions
  • Producing design artifacts to support service, security, and engineering
Skills and experience we seek:
  • A deep enthusiasm for technology and its customer-centric applications
  • Strong design and architecture skills with experience in agile delivery methods
  • Desirable familiarity with cloud technologies, especially Amazon Web Services
  • Financial acumen to contribute to business cases and key design decisions
  • Robust technical expertise adaptable to various customer and business contexts
