Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide highquality care and support to children in a residential setting
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times
  • Assist children with daily activities and routines
  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to meet the needs of children
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a residential childcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work on a 2 days on, 2 days off rota with occasional sleep shifts

Salary:
£11.00-£13.00 per hour
