We are seeking a skilled commercial expert with experience in reactive maintenance initiatives, strong knowledge in subcontractor procurement, cost control, the CVR process, and exceptional client rapport.

Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:

  • Review cost/value reports & profit projections
  • Engage with subcontractors/suppliers
  • Ensure cost efficiency & financial evaluations
  • Supervise daily cost management & reporting
  • Handle subcontractor payment requests
  • Participate in project and company meetings
  • Oversee cash flow scheduling
  • Cultivate professional relationships with clients & stakeholders

Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

  • Degree or relevant technical certification
  • Knowledge of Schedule of Rates
  • Previous Quantity Surveying expertise with a primary contractor
  • Solid understanding of commercial aspects
  • Demonstrated success in timely and budget-conscious project delivery
  • Familiarity with contracts
  • Proficient in negotiation, communication & presentation
  • Understanding of Supply Chain management
