Job Summary:


As a Quality Inspector at Dontaur Engineering, you will play a critical role in ensuring the adherence to strict quality standards in the production of aerospace components.

We are seeking an experienced individual with a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of Quality control processes.


Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components at various stages of production.

Inspect finished components and assemblies to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.

Utilise precision measurement tools and equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Document and report inspection results, deviations, and non-conformities.

Collaborate with production teams and engineers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Perform first article inspections and ensure that all products meet required specifications.

Stay updated on aerospace industry standards and quality control practices.

Requirements:

Experience as a Quality Inspector in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential

In-depth knowledge of Quality control standards and regulations.

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Education and Qualifications:

Minimum Maths and English GCSE Grade C (or equivalent)

Relevant technical qualification in machining or a related field would be advantageous.

Work Schedule
Mon-Thurs - 7.30am-16.15

Fri - 7.30am-13.30
