Biomedical Scientist - Histology | Band 7 | Manchester | Full Time | Permanent

Spire Manchester are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced biomedical scientist with HCPC registration to join their warm and friendly team

Based at our brand new purpose built Laboratory 1.5 miles offsite from Spire Manchester in Didsbury. Spire has invested significantly in the Histology Centre and is currently moving to digitalisation.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the [SHC histology] team in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person
  • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
  • Assist in training staff

.Who we're looking for

  • MSc in Biomedical Science
  • Registered BMS with 5 years' experience
  • IBMS diploma of expert practice is preferred
  • Good team work ethic
  • Enthusiastic and energetic professional
