We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and compassionate Assistant Psychologist to join the Staff Psychology Team at North Bristol NHS Trust, part of the award-winning Trust-wide Staff Wellbeing Service.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with psychologists and the admin team providing flexible support to ensure smooth department operations
  • Support coordination and delivery of workshops, courses, and team initiatives
  • Develop creative and engaging staff information resources
  • Contribute to staff wellbeing intranet content
  • Undertake clinical work based on experience and supervisor agreement
  • Facilitate mindfulness sessions and manage individual/group distress
  • Support assessment, evaluation processes, and data analysis
  • Co-develop team reports as part of team work
  • Follow job plan, professional development plan, and annual appraisal
  • Engage in clinical governance processes, service meetings, and improvement initiatives
  • Foster psychological safety, compassion, and learning within the team
  • Commit to personal and team wellbeing
  • Be reliable, flexible, and organized
