Overview


What You Will Be Doing- conduct experimental research on spin qubits, automation of their setup and calibration, as well as developing demonstrations of error correction,- collaborate closely with other team members working on modelling and algorithms,- actively engage with our colleagues from Hitachi's global R&D group as well as academic partners at the University of Cambridge and European partners,- strive to pursue the commercial goals of the company,- publicise their research in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.


Interest in science and technology, a strong-team spirit as well as excellent communication and intercultural competences are vital for the new member to enjoy the work in our team.


What You Bring To the Team- A PhD in experimental spin-qubit research,- Experience with automation of qubit setup and calibration techniques,- A strong background and hands-on experience with machine learning techniques,- Reasonable theoretical knowledge and experience in modelling of spin qubits,- Hands on experience in programming lab control systems with python,- A track record of excellent scientific achievements in the field of synthetic biology.- A 2+ year professional experience after the PhD working on spin qubits either in an academic environment as a post-doctoral researcher or in an industry lab is welcomed.
