This position is within the Workday Product site and is part of the EDM team at Kainos. Kainos EDM is a fresh Workday module created by Kainos, enhancing Workday into a complete HR document management system that enables organizations to securely store and handle employee documents within Workday. Due to the growth of our product development team, we are seeking an experienced professional to join us in advancing our product roadmap.

Main Purpose of the Role & Responsibilities in Business:

  • Work as a Workday Integrations Consultant at Kainos, contributing individually to ensure successful delivery of integration solutions for Employee Document Management on Workday.
  • Document, implement, deploy, and support integration solutions in a Workday implementation project.
  • Develop and share expert knowledge of the Workday product and integration platform toolset.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers to comprehend their needs, align the integration solution to their requirements, and mentor junior team members to excel in Workday Integrations.

Minimum (Essential) Requirements:
• Workday Integrations/Studio Certified.
• Proficiency in XML, XPath, XSLT, and an object-oriented programming language (preferably J2EE).
• Understanding of cloud computing, web services, and associated integration hurdles.
• Customer-focused, with client-facing experience, able to build relationships and know when to escalate issues.
• Consulting skills such as presenting, participating in workshops, and explaining solutions to customers.
• Effective communicator, proficient in English, capable of maintaining credibility and empathy with customers and colleagues, even in remote work setups.
• Commercial awareness, comprehension of project and business dynamics, and adherence to standards and procedures to maintain quality and accuracy.

Desirable:
• Proficiency in other middleware/integration platforms.
• Experience in designing workflows to solve business and technical challenges.
