Cooper Lomaz are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator based near Melton (NR12) in Suffolk for a growing organisation with lots of opportunity for progression.

Within this new role you will be supporting the sales team with various tasks including accurately raising and issuing contract documentation to meet tight deadlines and individual customer needs. This is a varied role from booking client meetings, raising contracts and ensuring customers are updated throughout projects and keeping communication open. An exciting element of the role is that our client is going through a CRM change to Hubspot where you will be given training to become a superuser and champion of this new CRM and play a big role in the business assisting others, therefore someone very comfortable using CRM systems and learning new skills is essential.

The appointed candidate will be responsible for day to day activities, such as ensuring customer records are kept up to date within internal databases and continually look to suggest process and system improvements and support the Sales Support Manager to implement changes where required. In a typical working week you will proactively and efficiently work alongside the regionalised sales team, creating and issuing contract documentation, processing change documentation and answering internal and external queries. Liaising with your regional sales team members, ensuring customer contact is prompt and clear and occasionally be required to attend and assist in online and onsite customer meetings to take notes and assist.

Key Tasks:

  • Handle incoming sales and operator calls and process accordingly.
  • Process new sales leads, assisting the regional sales managers to ensure that leads are followed up in a timely manner with the aim of securing a first meeting.
  • Outbound sales calls to prospective customers as agreed with the Sales support manager and regional sales managers.
  • Raise and issue contract documentation for new customers, existing customers and contract change requests.
  • Processing associated post-sale related tasks prior to handover to the Service Delivery team.
  • Maintain an internal customer database and work closely with the Sales Support Manager to assist in the implementation of new systems and processes that directly affect the sales team.
  • Raise purchase orders for ad hoc purchases, train travel and hotel bookings where required.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of sales and ad-hoc reports where needed

Key skills / experience

  • Ability to offer strong organisational and supportive skills to make a tangible impact on sales outcomes and process and system improvements.
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service to external customers.
  • Proven Administrative experience within a sales team (raising / dealing with contracts / project documentations / quotes)
  • Ability to engage with people and building strong professional relationships both internally and externally.
  • Enjoy problem solving to deliver prompt, positive outcomes to queries and bespoke requests.
  • Strong CRM / IT skills
  • Any previous experience in using any of the following would be advantageous: Google Mail and Documents, Hubspot, Autotask.
