highly acclaimed bridal gowns, that attract clients from across the globe.
The Role:
They are seeking an
experienced Sample Machinist with excellent sewing skills, and extensive garment construction knowledge, to join the friendly and creative team at their design house based in the town of Taunton in Somerset.
Duties:
- Produce first samples with high finishing techniques and skills
- Work closely with the design team, pattern cutters and workroom manager to maintain sampling standards
- Advise the pattern cutters of potential construction problems
- Ensure all products are made to the highest quality at all times
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of how to use luxury fabrics, specifically Chiffon, Double Satin, Crepe, Lace and Silk Satin
- Minimum 4years experience working with bridal wear or a highend luxury womenswear product.
- You will have extensive garment construction knowledge
- Be able to work a garment through from start to finish
