About the role
Project Coordinator - Grain LNG, Isle of Grain, Kent
As a Project Coordinator, you'll report directly to the Senior Project Engineer and the Technical Delivery Manager on performance and progress of projects and the departmental objectives. Big projects, big budgets, big ideas: this is an opportunity to lead on all aspects of planning, delivery of logistics and supply chain to support the projects schedule.
You'll join an expanding terminal, which is of strategic national importance to UK energy infrastructure and security of supply. We're the largest Liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Europe and eighth largest in the world by tank capacity with a site that spans over 600 acres in total.
Key accountabilities
Liaise closely with the Senior Projects Engineer, Assistant Project Engineers and the Contracted Project Engineers on performance against current week project schedule, monthly planning schedule and long term planning meetings with Operations and Maintenance teams. Ensure strict compliance with company's Health and Safety policies. Control budgets and create forecasts for the next month(s), financial year and up to a projected 5 years. Identify project process bottlenecks, successfully improve process by reviewing and updating project process policy document. Identify business improvements and initiatives for the Project Team.About you

Is a time served apprentice or equivalent with previous experience as a Mechanical, Electrical or C&I Technician. Has experience in a Coordinator or Planning type role for Projects or Maintenance teams. Has exceptional communication skills, is self-motivated and has a dynamic approach to achieving goals and objectives. Has well developed Stakeholder management capabilities between Projects, Operations, Maintenance, Commercial, Permit and Design Teams. Is competent with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Paint and Project Planner) to create weekly, monthly and annual project schedules ensuring personnel, equipment, vendors and parts/spares availability.What you'll get
A competitive salary of £43,000 to £50,000 - dependent on capability. Established market supplement of £5,500 per annum (paid monthly).
